Излагаются результаты разработки системы автоматизации библиотечно-информационных процессов СО РАН на базе единого центра. В результате проведенных работ определены функции системы и оптимальные способы связи научно-исследовательских учреждений (НИУ) СО РАН с центром в ГПНТБ СО РАН. В качестве программных средств, наиболее полно обеспечивающих выполнение функций системы, выбрана система автоматизации библиотечных процессов ИРБИС-64. Опытная эксплуатация показала реальность реализации проекта создания такой системы. Наряду с этим были вскрыты и решены проблемы и «тонкие мест» как в технической реализации системы, так и в технологии решения библиотечно-информационных задач на базе единого центра.
The paper presents the results of the development of automation system of library and information processes in SB RAS on the base of a Union center. As a result of this work, the functions of the system and the best ways to connect llibraries in research institutes with the Union center in SPSTL SB RAS. IRBIS-64 was chosen as the software mostly suitable for the system functions. Trial operation demonstrated the reality to create such a system. The problem and «thin places» in the technical implementation of the system and the technology for solving library and information tasks on the basis of the Union center were discovered and solved.
