Проблема адаптации научных библиотек к инновационным процессам в зарубежном библиотековедении

Abstract

The influence of innovation processes in the society upon the libraries activity and their reaction on these processes is considered. Innovation processes include both models of library management which the libraries for centuries willingly borrowed from the practice of large corporations, industrial enterprises, commercial structures of developed market economies, mainly that of the United States and Canada, as well as the implementation of computer technology, the cost of libraries on innovations, the purchase of software and digital electronic equipment, salaries specialists. The statistics of Research Libraries activities, published by Statistics Committee of the Association of Research Libraries USA and Canada is given.
