Historical book in Siberia and the Far East in the XVIII – beginning of XX century: results and the prospects for studying
Abstract
The paper considers the main results of a historical book studying – its publishing, disseminating and functioning in Siberia and the Far East in the XYIII th – early XX th centuries. Proposed are periodizations in studying history of historical book in the region and that of activities in publishing historical literature. Discussed is the concept of «historical book» and its typology with respect to Siberia and the Far East during XVIII – beginning of XX century. The directions for future investigations are outlined.
