Author Guidelines

1. The journal publishes previously unpublished materials: original articles containing the results of research and development, the latest experience for the country, analytical reviews on current areas of science and practice in the field of library and information science and bibliography, book science, discussion articles of profile content; original lectures on new areas of education in universities and institutes of culture and the system of additional professional education, reviews of monographs, textbooks, collections of works. Now materials for the section "Personalia" are not accepted. Now materials for the section "Personalia" are not accepted.

2. Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. The date of receipt of the article is the date of receipt of the final text. Only negative feedback is sent to the authors. The grounds for refusal of the publication are: non-compliance of the provided material to the subject and requirements of the journal, negative review.

3. The length of the article should be logically justified and not exceed 0.6 a. L. without taking into account the informative abstract, abstract, list of references, information about the authors. The volume of short communications – 0.2 a. L. text and 2-3 drawings or photos.

4. The manuscripts are accepted only from the authors responsible for correspondence indicated in them.

5. There is no fee for the publication of articles and other materials.

6. Articles submitted in English are published in the original language.

8. The author's copy of the journal "Bibliosphere" is sent by e-mail in PDF format and is intended for personal use only.

9. The article can be sent to the journal through the article submission system on the journal's website.

10. The conclusion of this Public Offer Agreement on the part of the Author, that is, complete and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Public Offer Agreement (acceptance), is the sending of the material through your personal account.

11. Authors must sign the Consent to the processing of personal data, which must be printed, filled out, scanned and sent by email: kanc@spsl.nsc.ru. The original Consent must be sent to the address: 630102, Novosibirsk, Voskhod str., 15, State Public Scientific and Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian academy of sciences, of. 406 or submit to the editorial office (of. 304b).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

12. The submitted material should contain: the text of the article, abstract (300-500 characters), UDC and BBC. The author submits in Russian and English languages : abstract, keywords, references (see recommendations on the website), captions to figures and tables.

13. The author must provide the following information: academic degree, academic title, ORCID, affiliation, position, a work phone, e-mail.

14. In the text, it is desirable to highlight the introduction, conclusion, the main text is divided into subsections. Author's emphasis in italics and bold of the most important text fragments is welcomed.

15. The text must be in the format .doc. Pages are not numbered.

16. References to the cited literature (or electronic publications) in the list of references are arranged in alphabetical order and are indicated in the text by numbers in square brackets. When quoting, specify the page number (or page range). Rules and examples of registration of the list of references see on the website. Citation of two or more works under the same number, as well as the same work under different numbers is not allowed.

17. Links to articles from journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science are welcome.

18. The editorial office will not accept articles that are not executed in compliance with the above rules.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the anonymity of reviewing.

  7. The author(s) guarantees that he (they) has the exclusive rights to the material submitted for publication, which is original, not previously published, and agrees with the terms of the Public Offer and accept it.

  8. The author(s) agrees to the processing of the personal data.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals, information systems and organizations.
